provides our Big Midway
with carnival rides & games.

Hours for the Midway:
Friday > 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.
Saturday > 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Sunday > Noon - 10 p.m.

Ride Tickets:
$1.25 each or 10 for $12
(one or two tickets per ride)

Ride Specials are offered
throughout the hours
of the Ox Roast Fair.

Games & Other Fun

Kids' Ox Land
Look for the designated spot just for kids where families can enjoy good, clean fun in our church-run games & play area. Here you'll find the ever-popular Duck Pond, "fishing" for Turtles, Lucky Lollipos & other fun games all run by St. Joseph Parish volunteers. Prizes for everyone!

Face Painting will also be in this area. A little paint, a lot of smiles!
Step 2 is once again providing some of their most popular ride on toys & other items for our play are.

Frog Jumping Contest
frogAnother event to please the kids (and adults, too!) is the popular Frog Jumping Contest on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. Entry fee is $1.00. Bring your own jumper or "rent-a-frog" for $1.00 each. Cash prizes & Ox Roast Fair T-shirts are awarded to the best of the bunch. Look for a hoppin' good time in the Kids' Ox Land!

Dunking Booth
St. Joseph's C.Y.O. Sports team members, their families & willing volunteers entertain & refresh at the Dunking Booth. Show your throwing expertise as you show your support!

McGinnis Amusements
A variety of carnival-type games will be available on the midway. The midway rides & games are run by McGinnis Amusements. Look in the red box to the left for Daily Ride Specials.

Indoor Casino &
Outdoor Casino Tent

Adult fairgoers may try their luck in the Indoor Casino located in Hughes Hall or the Casino Tent located near the entrance of Fr. Hughes Hall. Casino areas, open during Fair hours, features a variety of Casino Games (including Black Jack, Over & Under, Sic-bo, and Roulette Wheel, Instant Bingo & the Quarterfall Trailer.

tractorKiddie Tractor Pulls
Provided by the Mantua Knights of Columbus Council #3766, this is a real cute event that shows the heart and determination of those little ones. Built to imitate the look & feel of a real tractor pull, these pedal-powered vehicles are a big hit with boys & girls aged 4 to 9 years old (and plenty of spectators, too!).
Sign-ups begin at 5:00 p.m. with three age categories (ages 4 & 5, 6 & 7, and 8 & 9). Registration fee is $2.00 per child. Starting at 5:30 p.m., the Kiddie Tractor Pulls are held on the pavement right in front of the Kids' Ox Land and the Lemon Shake-Up Booth. Participation ribbons & trophies in each category are awarded. Click here for winner details!
