The
44th Annual Ox Roast Fair in 2007 at
St. Joseph Parish in Mantua was another huge success!
The weekend was beautiful with the much-needed rain showers clearing
out just in time for the event.
The Mantua weather was superb bringing out
tremendous crowds with nearly all of the
food booths selling out before the close on Sunday.
Held the third full weekend of July,
the Ox Roast Fair has become a tradition
in the Mantua area & surrounding communities.
Large
crowds, busy booths, a welcoming spirit, tired smiles &
that wonderful sense of accomplishment mark
another successful St. Joseph's Ox Roast Fair.
As our summer visitors expressed their amazement,
hundreds of volunteers provided gracious
hospitality for our wonderful fund raiser.
We send out our thanks and appreciation to the many
wonderful chairpeople, volunteers and contributors
who helped to make our fair a highlight of the season.

GOOD
STEWARDS
Members
of several Girl Scout Troops
of the Crestwood School District
collected a vehicle full of canned goods
to help stock the shelves of the 4C's,
Mantua's food cupboard.
Thanks to these young ladies
(& a very helpful parking crew),
a very valuable community
service project continues.
The
Center of Hope in Ravenna
received Ox Roast Fair surplus again this year.
As good stewards to those in need in our area,
St. Joseph's gave various salad bar items.
