Welcome!Nurturing the Parish's Mission Statement, the Welcoming Committee is not satisfied until each and every person who comes to our church, from vacationers and visitors to newcomers and old timers, feels relaxed and welcome.

We heartily welcome all new families and persons into our parish family.  Please contact the Parish Office @ 330.274.2253 or e-mail ktrares@stjosephmantua.com to register.  As a member of the Church you are accepting the responsibility of supporting God’s work at St. Joseph Parish through giving of yourself, your time and talents and treasures to show your love for Christ and your gratitude for God's many favors.

The Welcoming Committee strives to make everyone feel at home and comfortable at St. Joseph’s.  The committee especially hopes to encourage new parishioners in becoming full and active members of our faith community.  The Stewardship Way of Life and Welcoming Committees have developed a welcoming packet of materials, including information about St. Joseph’s and our various activities and committees for all new parishioners. A "welcoming couple" will meet newly registering families after the Mass they attend and present them with their packet.

The Welcoming Committee meets periodically on Sunday mornings after the 8:30 a.m. Mass. If you would like to join this group of friendly "welcomers" or need more information, please contact Cyndi & Gary Keefer or the Parish Office.

We extend our congratulations to Gary Keefer and his wife, Cyndi, as he celebrates his candidacy to the Ministry of Deacon in the Church. Gary will declare his candidacy to the Diaconate at the 4:00 p.m. Mass on Sunday, November 13, 2005, at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. Please remember to keep Gary and Cyndi in your prayers as he continues his formation in preparation for Ordination to the Diaconate and service to our parish.
